The high Georgian ceilings and large windows of the kitchen combine seamlessly with the range cooker, electric oven and American Fridge Freezer. The large open fire place in the drawing room, complete with marble surround blends beautifully with the comfortable modern sofas and if you are planning a (civilised) party, then the cellar is the ideal space with karaoke machine, lots of comfy bean bags and even your very own bar....(drinks not included!).
Portman House boasts 6 large bedrooms and 4 stunning bathrooms allowing you to sleep 12 as standard or 14 with the addition of Z beds.
A cosy snug and a downstairs bedroom and bathroom create a stunning downstairs ensemble before you head upstairs to the 5 large bedrooms and 3 lavish bathrooms. Roll top baths, walk in showers, and King size luxury beds (6ft Super King in the master bedroom) are just some of the delights that you can find upstairs.
If you head below ground to the cellar even more delights await. A bar area, karaoke, cinema room with projector, and a 7 seater sauna have all been included to make a stay at Portman House as entertaining as you can get.
The outdoor hot tub perched on the raised patio is the perfect place to enjoy some relaxation time and drink in the countryside views (available all year round). Once recharged, the games room with pool table, darts and table tennis will keep you all further entertained for hours.
If you do decide to venture out then there are a number of local country pubs serving hearty fayre and cold (or warm as the locals would have it!) cider. The local farm shop, just a short walk away (1/2 mile), offers so many tasty morsels its almost too hard to choose...almost.
Please Note: There are noise restrictions in place at this property whereby no external music players must be brought to the property (portable bluetooth players are provided and these must be kept at a low level) and external noise must consider other neighbours nearby which means no excesses of shouting or screaming at any time.
